As for the last five years, the Jagiellonian University will celebrate the opening of the new academic year with the JU MC Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy’s Cup Run. Unlike in the previous editions, however, the participants will not be able to gather together and circle around the Kraków Błonia Park, and so the organisers have devised an alternative method of taking part in the event.

As with the previous editions, JU MC Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy’s Cup Run will provide a chance for an active start of the new academic year and promote a healthy lifestyle. This year, however, it has yet another important aim: gathering the funds necessary to finance medical equpiment needed to perform Ganz osteotomy, a procedure availabe only in a few hospitals in Europe.

The Run will be open to everyone. To participate, please visit the registration website and fill in the application form. Your registration fee will be used to fund the abovementioned medical devices for the University Hospital in Kraków. Although the 5-kilometre run is officially scheduled to take place on 4 October, you are encouraged to complete in your own time.
