JU Faculty of Chemistry and Jagiellonian University Doctoral Schools invite you to attend a unique seminar, during which the lecture entitled "Chemistry in art, art in chemistry, and the spiritual ground they share" will be delivered by Nobel Prize Laureate Professor Roald Hoffmann (Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, Cornell University).



Professor Roald Hoffmann is an eminent specialist in theoretical chemistry. He is the author or co-author of about 700 papers published in leading chemical journals. His works have been cited over 65,000 times. At present he works at Cornell University (USA). Professor Hoffmann is not only a chemist, but also a poet, author of essays and television productions, as well as the creator of the Roald cabaret. He has published a number of poetry books, and his theatrical plays have been translated into many languages.

The seminar will be held on Thursday, 4 March 2021, at 4.00 p.m.
