The Jagiellonian University Faculty of Polish Studies invites students, teachers and academic staff to attend an international conference 'School 2023', which will be hosted on 1-2 June 2023. The participants of the conference will include researchers from both Poland and abroad.
The Academic Conference 'School 2023' will be held in hybrid mode. It will therefore be possible to participate remotely as well as onsite.
Thematic scope of the conference:- Contemporary school and literary and language education
- Challenges of L1 education in the third decade of the 21st century
- The role of L1 education in the modern school
- L1 education as a response to the uncertainty of modernity
- The role of the L1 teacher as a guide to the modern world
- Literary and language education in a time of constant change
- Modern L1 education: challenges, perspectives, diagnoses
- L1 education as an introduction to contemporary culture
Schedule:
- up to 9 April - submission of abstracts
- 10-15 April - review of abstracts by the Scientific Committee
- 18 April - information on acceptance of abstracts by the Academic Committee sent to speakers
- 4 May - publication of the Conference schedule
- 1-2 June - Conference (Faculty of Polish Studies UJ & MS Teams)
