JU Internet webpage has come second in Poland in a popularity ranking

JU internet webpage is the second most frequently visited site among the sites of Poland’s universities according to the 4 International Colleges & Universities site, which gathers information about the universities from all over the world.

132 Polish colleges and universities took part in the survey. Among the top ten sites were webpages belonging to (according to the order of appearance): the University of Warsaw, the Jagiellonian University, the Gdańsk University of Technology, the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, the Wrocław University of Technology, the University of Zielona Góra and the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.

However, in a global ranking the University of Warsaw is rated 274th in the world, and the Jagiellonian University – 287th, respectively.

The most popular university webpage in the world is Stanford’s site while in Europe – Cambridge’s webpage (with the 12th result in the international league table).

The survey took into consideration all colleges and universities that are officially recognized, licensed or accredited by national or regional bodies such as ministries of education and/or recognized accreditation organizations, are entitled to grant academic degrees, provide traditional education facilities and have a working and official webpage.
