JU Press concluded an agreement of cooperation with Columbia University Press, which is the fourth oldest university press in the USA with 115 years of history. By virtue of the concluded agreement, starting from 2013 Columbia University Press shall be selling and promoting JU Press books issued in English.

Perseus Distribution, presently one of the greatest book distributors in the United States, will be responsible for the dissemination of JU publications in the territory of the United States of America, Canada, and Latin America.

The cooperation aims to ensure that researchers from the Jagiellonian University participate in the international exchange of academic achievements, especially on the American market, which is a key market for this area of interest. Simultaneously, the JU Press is going to cooperate with Columbia University Press in the field of e-book distribution.

JU Press will start a cooperation with JU researches who are intending to publish in English. Every English-language publication will be presented in a CUP catalogue issued two times a year: in spring and autumn.
