By virtue of a decision of Secretary General of the Congress Andreas KIEFER of 11 March 2013, and after consultation with the chairs of the statutory committees and the Chair of the Group of Independent Experts on the European Charter of Local Self-Government (GIE), Dr Krzysztof Kozłowski, JU Chair in Constitutional Law, Faculty of Law and Administration, has been appointed as first alternate member of the GIE for Poland.
