Jagiellonian University scientists awarded in Brussels

The scientists from the Jagiellonian University Faculty of Chemistry received a gold and a silver medal at the Brussels Innova 2013 world fair. They were awarded for developing two low-temperature oxide catalysts for methane oxidation, which will make it possible to reduce the emission of one of the most dangerous greenhouse gases. The awards were presented to Dr hab. Andrzej Adamski, who collected the award on behalf of the whole research team.

The Brussles Innova 2013 fair is dedicated to technology transfer and implementation of innovative solutions. It has featured inventions from 14 countries, including Belgium, Bosnia, Croatia, France, Iran, Italy, Malaysia, Moldova, Romania, Russia, and Taiwan.
