Dr Liane Hentschke visits the Jagiellonian University

On 4 February, the Jagiellonian University was visited by Dr Liane Hentschke, the Director of Institutional Cooperation of the CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development) – an executing agency for the Brazilian Science Without Borders scholarship programme. She was accompanied by Prof. dr hab. Wiesław Banyś, the President of CRASP (Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland) and Dr Joanna Gocłowska-Bolek, the Director of the University of Warsaw Centre for Latin American Studies.

The meeting was hosted by the Vice-Rector for Research and Structural Funds, Prof. dr hab. Stanisław Kistryn. Among other issues, they discussed the conditions and perspectives for Polish-Brazilian cooperation in the Science Without Borders. They also presented the research activity and compared the programmes of the University. The Rector's Proxy for Education and International Cooperation at the Medical College, Prof. dr hab. Beata Tobiasz-Adamczyk, and the Rector's Proxy for International Relations, Prof. dr hab. Zdzisław Mach, also attended the meeting.
