The paper "Deuteron–proton breakup at medium energies" by Prof. dr hab. Stanisław Kistryn, the Jagiellonian University Vice-Rector for Research and Structural Funds, and Prof. dr hab. Elżbieta Stephan, the deputy head of the Institute of Physics and the University of Silesia, was recognised by the Journal of Physics G: Nuclear and Particle Physics as one of the most important publications of 2013.
