On 9 April 2014, the delegation of the representatives of the Romanian Ministry of National Education began their visit. They started by taking a tour of the JU Collegium Maius Museum. The delegation consisted of seven members who came to the JU to gather information related to the organisation of PhD studies and the university's human resource policies.

During the meeting in the Senate Room of Collegium Novum, attended by Prof. dr hab. Andrzej Mania, JU Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs and the employees of his office as well as the employees of the Office for Student Affairs and the Department of Admissions, the representatives of the Romanian ministry were presented with the relevant data. The issue of agreements for join supervision of doctoral assessment process was also discussed.

A meeting with the heads of PhD studies and in the Institute of Information and Library Science of the Faculty of Management and Social Communication is planned in the future. The last element of the visit was a presentation of the JU's human resource policy delivered by the employees of the Rector's Office and the Office of Human Resources.
