Declaration of academic cooperation between the Jagiellonian Univeristy and Norwegian University of Science and Technology

On 2 February 2012 the Jagellonian University hosted the representatives of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology  (NTNU) from Trondheim – prof. Johan E. Hustad, NTNU vice-rector for innovation and international cooperation and Hilde Skeie, the manager of the NTNU department for the international cooperation.
     
During the meeting, held on the initiative of the JU Higher Education Research Centre, the representatives of both universities signed a letter of intent for academic cooperation. The Jagiellonian University was represented by Szczepan Biliński, JU vice-rector for research and international cooperation. The meeting was also participated by Harald Lyderssen – Honorary Consul General in Trondheim, prof. Ryszard Czarny – president of the JU Interdisciplinary Team for Nordic Research and Justyna Bugaj, vice-president of the team.

The declaration is a result of a wider international cooperation scheme encompassing Kraków and the Małopolska Region.
