JU students succeed in ABB IT Challenge

JU students succeed in ABB IT Challenge

Progress Beat Team, consisting of Olga Wojnarowska, Far Eastern Studies student from the JU Faculty of International and Political Studies and Artem Shubovych, Software Engineering Student of the JU Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, took forth place in a prestigious IT competition.

The final stage of the contest took place on 7 June 2016. The JU students outperformed more than a dozen competing teams from all over Poland. They were recognised for designing a website identifying the educational needs of school students and supporting their decision processes.

The ABB IT Challenge is an annual competition organised by the Information Systems Delivery Centre (ISDC) ABB. It rewards team work, innovative ideas, the technical ability of designing solutions that respond to real public demands and presenting a plan of putting the ideas into practice.
