JU MC students receive international recognition in Serbia

JU MC students receive international recognition in Serbia

‘Differences in autonomic nervous response between two acute acoustic stress assessed by heart rate variability (hrv) method in group of students’, a paper by Michał Jurczyk and Andrzej Boryczko, two fourth-year students of the JU MC Faculty of Medicine, was chosen as the best one during a poster session at the Global Students Conference.

This year, Belgrade was the host of the 4th Global Students Conference, attended by students from various higher education institutions, including the Jagiellonian University Medical College. The event featured a multitude of workshops, lectures and discussion panels.

One of the most important elements of the conference was a poster session for students of medical programmes. The paper written by JU MC students, members of the Pathophysiology Student Academic Society, was chosen as the best one amongst the submitted publications. The paper was written under the supervision of Dr Agata Furgała and Dr hab. Krzysztof Gil from the JU MC Chair in Pathophysiology.
