Ambassador of Thailand visits the Jagiellonian University

On 9 November, Ambassador of Thailand to Poland Sansanee Sahussarungsi visited the Jagiellonian University. She was received in Collegium Novum by JU Rector Prof. Wojciech Nowak and JU Rector’s Proxy for Internationalisation Prof. Adam Jelonek.





The participants of the meeting talked about the possible ways of expanding cooperation between the Jagiellonian University and Thai higher education institutions. They discussed issues related to student and staff mobility as well as collaborative efforts in establishing join research teams and study programmes.

Sansanee Sahussarungsi has been the Thai Ambassador to Poland since May 2017. She previously served as the Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Economic Affairs of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She graduated in International Studies from the Claremont Graduate University, USA. In 2003, she received the Distinguished Award and Recognition of the Government Officials of the Year from the Royal Thai Government.
