On 23 November 2018, the Jagiellonian University was visited by Adrian Jasimi, member of the Energy Community (EC), an organisation based in Vienna which aims to integrate the energy industry from outside the European Union with the EU markets.

Adrian Jasini was received in Collegium Novum by the JU Vice-Rector for Research and Structural Funds Prof. Stanisław Kistryn. The JU Rector’s Proxy for Innovation Dr hab. Andrzej Adamski also took part in the meeting.

Adrian Jasimi is an EC expert on oil extraction, processing, and market. He is also the chief coordinator of the next year’s Energy Community Summer School, which the Jagiellonian University will organise together with the AGH University of Science and Technology.

The conversation with Prof. Stanisław Kistryn focused on the activities of the EC and the idea of the Summer School. “I am very happy that we will be able to contribute to this project”, said the Vice-Rector.
