JagIMUN 2018

JagIMUN 2018

The third edition of the Jagiellonian University International Model United Nations was successfully completed on the 25th November 2018. The annual 3-day conference is a simulation of a scientific conference and a role-playing game, during which the participants replicate the working groups of the United Nations Organisation, as well as acquire leadership, language, public speaking and diplomatic skills.

The conference makes it possible for the participants to step into the shoes of ambassadors from UN member states to discuss, debate and negotiate compromises on the current issues on the organisation’s agenda. This year, the organisers were pleased to have delegates from various fields of study all under one roof.

Traditionally, JagIMUN was organised by the Association of International and Area Studies - the student association, which is part of the International Relations and Area Studies Programme at the Jagiellonian University.  In addition, students from other faculties and universities joined us to support the project and contribute to its success on the highest possible level.
