JU delegation attends the ASEF meeting

On May 11-15 the Jagiellonian University delegation, consisting of Prof. Adam Jelonek and Dr hab. Ewa Trojnar is taking part in the ASEF Rectors’ Conference and Student’s Forum in Bucharest. The Jagiellonian University is the only Polish higher education institution participating in the event.

During the conference, Prof. Adam Jelonek, JU Rector’s Proxy for Internationalization took part in the discussion panel “Taking action at international level SDGs as Catalysts to Reorient Internationalisation” and, on behalf of the JU Rector invited the ASEF Director Karsten Warnecke to organise another ASEF summit at the Jagiellonian University.

The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) is an intergovernmental not-for-profit organisation based in Singapore. Founded in 1997, it promotes understanding, strengthens relationships and facilitates cooperation among the people, institutions and organisations of Asia and Europe. The ASEF enhances dialogue, enables exchanges and encourages collaboration across the thematic areas of culture, education, governance, sustainable development, economy and public health.
