JU Rectors' Committee restricts travel in the light of coronavirus outbreak

JU Rectors' Committee restricts travel in the light of coronavirus outbreak

Following the annoucements from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the World Health Organisation, and the National Sanitary Inspectorate, the Rectors' Committee of the Jagiellonian University has decided that trips to and from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Iran, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Italy, France, and Germany are suspended immediately until further notice for students, academics and administrative staff.

JU students and staff wishing to shorten their stay in these countries should contact the JU International Relations Office (izabela.zawiska@uj.edu.pl). They will receive all help that the University can provide under these circumstances.

Since the current situation is very dynamic and the spread of disease is considered difficult to predict by the international health authorities, the Rectors' Committee of the Jagiellonian University calls for constant monitoring of the situation before deciding to go abroad.
