Jagiellonian Universiy restricts foreign travel

Jagiellonian Universiy restricts foreign travel

The Rector of the Jagiellonian University has decided that all work- and study-related foreign travel to and from the Jagiellonian University as well as visits by foreign guests are temporarily prohibited.

Please note that the previous announcements of the JU Rectors' Committee and the Council of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Kraków, restricting trips to and from selected countries for students, recommending the cancellation or postponing of university events, temporarily relieving students and academics who returned from selected countries from duties at the University, and allowing non-academic staff who visited these countries to work remotely, remain in force under further notice.

JU students and staff wishing to shorten their stay in selected countries should contact the JU International Relations Office (izabela.zawiska@uj.edu.pl). They will receive all help that the University can provide under these circumstances.

Since the current situation is very dynamic and the spread of disease is considered difficult to predict by the international health authorities, the Rectors' Committee of the Jagiellonian University calls for constant monitoring of the situation before deciding to go abroad.
