Medicine students volunteer to help the University Hospital

Medicine students volunteer to help the University Hospital

A large number of students from all three faculties of the Jagiellonian University Medical College have declared their readiness to help the University Hospital and the University Children’s Hospital as volunteers. The list already includes over 300 people and their number is still growing.

The students responded to the call for support from the JU Medical College authorities due to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus epidemic. The volunteers who registered via the registration form will be available for contact to support the work of University clinical units, as well as the National Sanitary Inspectorate in Kraków.

The JU Vice-Rector for the Medical College Prof. Tomasz Grodzicki thanked all the prospective volunteers for their readiness to support the medical services in the time of need.
