Book on the history of Polish literature published as part of a prestigious series

JU Faculty of Polish Studies researchers Prof. Magdalena Popiel and Prof. Tomasz Bilczewski, in collaboration with Prof. Stanley Bill from the University of Cambridge, have written a new comprehensive book on Polish literature, which was recently published as part of the Routledge World Companion to Polish Literature series. The book features an afterword renowned historian Norman Davies and an essay by Booker Prize winner Jennifer Croft.

On 15 October, the book was debated on during a meeting attended by Prof. Norman Davies (University of Oxford), Prof. Tomas Venclova (Yale University), Prof. Luigi Marinelli (La Sapienza – Universitá di Roma) and Michał Paweł Markowski (University of Illinoi at Chicago, Jagiellonian University.
