Astronomical Observatory
The Nicolaus Copernicus Astronomical Observatory is part of the JU Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science. Founded in 1792 and named after the world-famous Polish astronomer, it is based at Fort Skała, about 10 km (6 miles) west of the centre of Kraków.
