State-of-the-art ultrasound machines for the University Hospital in Kraków

State-of-the-art ultrasound machines for the University Hospital in Kraków

Thanks to a charity campaign organised by Porsche Centre in Kraków, the University Hospital in Kraków has received new modern equipment. The bidders turned out to be so generous that the original target sum was doubled, which allowed the purchase of two cutting-edge ultrasound machines, instead of one.

‘Words are not enough to express our gratitude to all those who contributed to this noble cause. The purchased machines will serve hundreds of patients. Obviously, modern equipment means even better diagnostics and, consequently, better quality of medical care. We are extremely happy that such initiatives allow us to provide patients with what is best for them’, announced the University Hospital.

Both machines have already been put to use – one in the Obstetrics and Perinatology Clinical Department and another in General and Oncological Surgery Clinical Department.

The official handover of the machines was attended by Paweł Kus, President of the Porsche Centre in Kraków, Marcin Jędrychowski, Director of the University Hospital as well as Professors Aleksander Konturek and Hubert Huras, Heads of the aforementioned clinical departments. Karolina Bielawska, Miss World 2022, also took part in the event.
