A cooperation agreement between Nokia company and the Jagiellonian University was signed on 9 April 2015 in Collegium Novum. The Jagiellonian University was represented by the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Prof. Andrzej Mania, the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science Prof. Armen Edigarian, and Dr Adam Roman from the Department of Discrete Mathematics. The Nokia delegation consisted of the Vice-President of the Board Paweł Bień, a member of the Board Jakub Kołpa, the Director of Research and Development Centre in Kraków Krzysztof Persona, and Dr Edward Lubkiewicz.
