Silver medal for the Jagiellonian University wine

The exhibitors at the prestigious international wine contest included winemakers from Czech Republic, France, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, and Spain.

On 13 April 2015 Valtice, a town in South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic, hosted the 13th edition of the International Wine Competition Cuvée 2015.

The exhibitors included winemakers from Czech Republic, France, Italy, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, and Spain.

The competition is a prestigious international wine contest held annually in the Czech Republic. The jury assessed wines according to the 100-point scale of the International Union of Oenologists.  The silver medal is awarded to wines that have received at least 83,00 points, whereas to earn the gold medal it is necessary to score 86,00 points or more.

This year, the silver medal in dry red wine category was given to the Jagiellonian University wine Maréchal Foch / Léon Millot, vintage 2014. It gained 83,33 points.

Altogether, five Polish wines won medals during this year's edition of the contest.
