A team of archaeologists conducting excavations in Cambodia has made a major discovery within a research project which aims at exploring historical settlement patterns in the region. Planetoid named after Jagiellonian University student

The International Astronomical Union has named one of the newly discovered planetoids Michalkusiak, after the student of the Jagiellonian University Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science. The planetoid (376574) 2013 PA16 is part of the main asteroid belt. It revolves around the Sun in 3.84 years. Its diameter, estimated on the basis of its absolute magnitude, is 1.7 kilometres
