The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has announced that this year’s edition of the ‘School of Polish language and culture for foreigners – Romance Course 2017’ project will be organised by the Jagiellonian University’s School of Polish Language and Culture.

According to Dr Dominika Włoch-Salamon from the JU Institute of Environmental Sciences, microorganisms can be selfish, spiteful, and altruistic. Although these social behaviours are not as advanced and developed as they are in humans, they can be observed if one looks closely enough.

In his laudation, Prof. Bartosz Brożek, Faculty of Law and Administration Vice-Dean for International Cooperation, stressed the importance of Prof. Ludwikowski's contributions to Polish-American cooperation.

Human breastmilk is an extraordinary liquid, unique and irreplaceable. ‘It’s fascinating. We should definitely get to know more about it’, said Anna Kotlińska from the Faculty of Health Sciences. As part of her PhD research project, she studies the properties of breastmilk.
