A year after the celebration of the 650th Jubilee of the Jagiellonian University, the University of Vienna also commemorated its 650-year anniversary. One of the events accompanying the festivities was an international regatta (coxed eights), organised on the New Danube. The JU rowing team participated in the competition, and with no small success.

Polish consortium DARIAH-PL will join a European research project on digital humanities

DARIAH-PL is the largest Polish humanities consortium to date. Currently, it comprises 18 institutions, one of which is the Jagiellonian University. Its aim is to develop and coordinate the cooperation of its members who employ digital infrastructure in their studies in the areas of humanities and art sciences in Poland.

A new study programme at the JU Faculty of Law and Administration

The Faculty of Law and Administration, in collaboration with the British Law Centre, will open a new postgraduate study programme – English and European Union Law. The programme will last for two years and will be available to graduates of both first- and second-cycle programme.
