Student Mobility

The Jagiellonian University International Students Office has received students who have come to Kraków within the framework of the following programmes:

  •   Erasmus+ Programme (formerly LLP Erasmus)
  •   Erasmus-Mundus Programme - IANUS, ERANET, ERANET PLUS, EMERGE, and Electra projects
  •   CEEPUS Programme
  •   Polish Erasmus for Ukraine
  •   Polish Government's Scholarship Programme for Young Scholars, coordinated by the Centre for East European Studies of the University of Warsaw
  •   Konstanty Kalinowski Scholarship Programme, coordinated by the Centre for East European Studies of the University of Warsaw
  • Exchange programmes within the framework of the offer by the Bureau of Academic Recognition and International Exchange - scholarship programmes of Polish and foreign institutions
  •   Stefan Banach Scholarship Programme (offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education)
  •   Lane Kirkland Scholarship Programme
  •   Kościuszko Foundation Scholarship Programme
  •   Visegrad Scholarship Programme
  •   GFPS scholarship programme
  •   Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission scholarship
  •   exchange within the framework of the Utrecht Network, as well as its collaboration with MAUI (Mid-America Universities International) and the Australian-European Network
  •   bilateral agreements (direct agreements between the JU and the partner higher education institutions, as well as their relevant units)


The Jagiellonian University International Relations Office deals with student (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral) and staff exchange which is part of bilateral agreements with 23 European, 5 Asian, 4 North American and 2 South American universities as well as 1 Australian higher education institution. The exchange comprises summer schools, short research stays and regular studies.

The Jagiellonian University also participates in the international exchange within the framework of SYLFF - The Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund, aimed at supporting especially talented graduate and doctoral students with high leadership skills, specialising in social sciences, humanities, law, economy and management. The Jagiellonian University's participation in the programme is also coordinated by the International Relations Office. The JU website of SYLFF is available here.
