Central Charity Collection Point

Central Charity Collection Point

On March 30 the Jagiellonian University has established a permanent collection point for Ukrainian refugees and those in need in Ukraine at the Silesian College (al. Mickiewicza 3, ground floor, rooms 4 and 5). It will be open from Monday to Saturday, from 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.

The collection point is coordinated by Ms Nadia Gubernat (nadia.gubernat@uj.edu.pl, phone: +48 601 503 159). The whole academic community of the Jagiellonian University is invited to contribute to this initiative by donating goods or by volunteering at the collection point, receiving, sorting, packing, preparing goods for shipment or performing other useful work. The prospective volunteers should fill out a short registration form: forms.office.com/r/CCtjb8cH4S

At the moment, the most needed goods comprise long-lasting food products, school and office supplies, domestic detergents, cosmetics, personal care products for small children as well as pet products.
