During the World Youth Day - from 25 to 30 July - an information centre will be open in Collegium Novum building at the Jagiellonian University. It will provide all visitors with information about Kraków and the Jagiellonian University.

During the World Youth Day the Jagiellonian University will welcome visitors as well as citizens of Kraków with 3D letters in colours of the World Youth Day – yellow, red and blue. The installations will be placed in the Academic Quarter in the city centre and at the Campus of the 600th Anniversary of JU Revival.

An exhibition to mark the World Youth Day in Kraków will be held at the Jagiellonian University Museum Collegium Maius. It will be devoted to the saints with links to the Jagiellonian University: Queen Jadwiga of Anjou, John Cantius, Simon of Lipnica, John of Dukla, Stanisław Kazimierczyk, Prince Kazimierz Jagiellończyk, Adam Chmielowski, Józef Sebastian Pelczar, Józef Bilczewski and Pope John Paul II
