Law Against Pandemic

Date: 07.04.2020 - 31.10.2020
Organiser: JU Faculty of Law and Administration, OKSPO Centre for Foreign Law Schools, JU
Law Against Pandemic

Law Against Pandemic is an interdisciplinary, international, multilingual project whose aim is to analyse the interrelations between law and pandemics. The debate shall aid in the development of sustainable solutions – not only in regard to the mitigation of the negative impacts of SARS-CoV-2, but also in the context of prevention of future epidemiological risks.

Law Against Pandemic is organised under the honorary auspices of the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration Prof. Jerzy Pisuliński, and co-organised by the OKSPO Centre for Foreign Law Schools, JU. The Scientific Advisory Board is composed of academics affiliated with various reputable institutions from all around the world.

In the first phase of the project, the organisers invite everyone, in particular young scholars with a background in social sciences, to publish articles and commentaries on the blog lawagainstpandemic.uj.edu.pl. There are no publication fees. Publication guidelines can be found either on the website or at bit.ly/lap-guidelines.

The project is evolving and more areas of action will be gradually introduced. All interested persons are encouraged to follow the news at facebook.com/lawagainstpandemic and twitter.com/againstpandemic.
