Medical Biotechnology for Health in The Warsaw Voice
An extensive article about the project Medical Biotechnology for Health has been published on The Warsaw Voice website. The goal of the project, which is funded within the framework of Innovative Economy Operational Programme, is the modernization of the JU Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology. It started to be implemented in 2008 and is to be completed by the end of 2012. Seven laboratories have been created, which further improves the Faculty's research capabilities, especially in such areas as: medical biotechnology, transcriptomics, proteomics, cell biophysics, immunology, virology, and plant biotechnology. Besides, a new well-equipped animal house has been built, thanks to which various species of laboratory animals can be now kept and researched on.
