JU MC Institute of Public Health has received yet another grant of the European Union’s Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). The funds will allow for the continuation of the international Master’s programme Europubhealth+: European Master in Public Health.
Thanks to the funding provided by the European Union within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degrees programme, the world’s best students have been able to participate in Europubhealth+ for the last 13 years. Selected JU students are also participating in the programme as an integral part of the of their Master’s studies in public health.
Aside from the JU MC Institute of Public Health, the Europubhealth consortium consists of:
- EHESP School of Public Health (France),
- University of Sheffield’s School of Health and Related Research (Great Britain),
- University of Granada (Spain),
- University of Rennes (France),
- Maastricht University (The Netherlands),
- University College Dublin’s School of Public Health (Ireland),
- University of Liège (Belgium).
Europubhealth+ graduates receive a joint diploma from the two universities they studied at throughout the duration of the programme. Its official languages are English, Spanish, and French.
Since 2006, Europubhealth+ is considered a Master’s Excellence programme, and in 2018, it was voted the best teaching programme in the area of public health, receiving the first ASPHER Dean’s & Director’s Good Practice Award from the Association of Schools of Public Health in the European Region).
