Two students of the International Security and Development programme at the JU Faculty of International and Political Studies, Esther Staes and Christopher Wijono, have been awarded in a competition hosted by the CYBERSEC 2020 Young Leaders Initiative.

As winners of the competition, they will be able to attend the 2021 CYBERSEC Programme Committee, their articles will be published in the European Cybersecurity Journal, and they will receive an invitation to an exclusive high-level thematic working sessions during CYBERSEC Global 2020.

The CYBERSEC Forum is one of the biggest cybersecurity events in Europe and one of its kind in Poland. Every year since 2015, the conference has been hosting like-minded individuals to discuss and contextualise the threats, challenges and opportunities following the development of new technologies, the expansion of cyberspace and the digitalization of our everyday lives.

CYBERSEC’s mission is to foster the building of a safe global cybersecurity system framework in a sprawling alliance of like-minded partners by offering a dedicated collaborative platform for governments, international organisations, and key private-sector organisations.
