The year 2020 marks the fourth edition of the Intellectual Property Law Summer School organised by the Jagiellonian University Faculty of Law. Because of the pandemic, the event was held on-line, with 100 students, PhD candidates, trainees, academic staff and other legal experts from Poland, Germany, France, Italy, India, the Philippines, Nigeria, Canada, the USA and other countries coming together to discuss the issues related to intellectual property law.
This year’s edition of the Intellectual Property Law Summer School was devoted to intellectual property quality, with workshops and lectures delivered by distinguished researchers from Polish and foreign higher education institutions, including the World Intellectual Property Organisation, European Patent Office and European Union Intellectual Property Office. The event also featured classes that improved the attendees’ practical skills such as delivering presentations, making clear arguments and writing papers on intellectual property law.
