International conference: Memory, myth, and reality. The Second World War and the German occupation of Polish lands

The Polish Institute of National Remembrance and JU Institute of Pedagogy will host an international conference 'Memory, myth, and reality. The Second World War and the German occupation of Polish lands', which will take place in Kraków on 17-18 May 2024. The languages of the conference are Polish and English. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided.

Manggha and Manga: The Many Faces of Japan

In 1994 Krakow witnessed the opening of the Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology, created on the initiative of the Kyoto-Krakow Foundation of Andrzej Wajda and Krystyna Zachwatowicz-Wajda. The name of the Museum is a tribute to the collector of Japanese art, Feliks Jasieński (1861–1929), who, fascinated with Japanese woodblock prints, adopted this artistic pseudonym. The conference marks the 30th anniversary of Manggha foundation.
