The Jagiellonian University is organising a free online Polish language course for Ukrainian refugees. The classes will be held from Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 9.00 a.m via the MS Teams platform.
The course will be held within the framework of three-week long cycles, but each class has been planned as an independent lesson, so new students can join the course at any stage.
The course is available online to everyone who would like to learn Polish for beginners and has access to the Internet via a computer, tablet or smartphone. The curriculum includes such aspects of basic Polish as the alphabet, courtesies, introducing yourself, personal information, numbers, money and currency, shopping, gastronomy, asking for directions, navigation, transport, accommodation, reporting theft or loss, medical appointments, weather, time, and many more, as well as cultural information about Poland and Poles.
To join the course, click the link at 8.00 a.m. If you already have the Teams app installed on your device, you join the meeting directly and wait for the teacher’s approval. In other case, you have to install the app and then join the meeting.
