With a tablet, it is possible to identify the symptoms of autism in 93 percent of cases, as indicated by the results of the latest study by Anna Anzulewicz from the JU Institute of Psychology and her collaborators, published by the journal Scientific Reports.

Cooperation thrives between the Jagiellonian University and Motorola Solutions Polska

It has been three years since Prof. Elżbieta Górska, Dean of the Faculty of Philology, and Jacek Drabik, Country Manager of Motorola Solutions Polska, signed a letter of intent concerning cooperation, exchanging experience and sharing knowledge. As a result, a new cooperative education programme was introduced into the Institute of English Studies. Since then, nearly 40 students have completed the course, acquiring the skills necessary to work with advanced technologies.

HERA grants for JU researchers

HERA – Humanities in the European Research Area - is a partnership between 24 Humanities Research Councils across Europe and the European Commission, with the objective of firmly establishing the humanities in the European Research Area and in the European Commission Framework Programmes. The consortium is investing 21 million euro in 18 transnational European research teams as part of its third joint research programme (JRP) Uses of the Past. Two of those teams feature scholars from the Jagiellonian University.
