The Jagiellonian University Faculty of Chemistry was recognised by the European Chemistry Thematic Network Association (ECTN), an organisation that evaluates the quality of chemistry teaching at higher education institutions.
The institution has given the JU Faculty of Chemistry several certificates: Chemistry Eurobachelor, Chemistry Euromaster, and Chemistry Doctorate Eurolabel for the Chemistry programme and Chemistry Eurobachelor and Chemistry Euromaster for the Medicinal Chemistry programme.
The evaluation committee visited the Jagiellonian University in June 2019. The required accreditation fees were funded by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The European Chemistry Thematic Network Association (ECTN) is a non-profit organisation registered in Belgium. The Association was created to provide a sustainable future for the European Chemistry Thematic Network, a network funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus programme. Currently, it includes 120 members coming from 30 different European countries, with associate members world-wide.
