The registration for COVID-19 vaccination opens for academic teachers and other people teaching courses at higher education institutions in Poland. The Jagiellonian University Chancellor Monika Harpula has made an announcement regarding this issue.

On 12 February 2021, the Ministry of Education and Science announced the general rules for COVID-19 vaccination programme for academic teachers and other people teaching courses at higher education institutions in Poland. The registration for the vaccination will be open from 15 to 18 February 2021.
Registration for the programme will be possible for persons born from 1 January 1956 to 31 December 2003.
The academic teachers born in 1955 or earlier will have an opportunity to be vaccinated against COVID-19 at a later date. The time and way of the registration will be announced as soon as the relevant details are provided by the Ministry of Education and Science.
Those who are not vaccinated as part of the academic teachers group will still have an opportunity to inoculate themselves within the framework of the vaccination programme for the general population pursuant to the criteria set by the National Vaccination Programme.
