In late February, the JU Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology is hosting the 50th Winter School, this year devoted to topics concerning cancer biology and therapy at the molecular level. Distinguished speakers will be participating in the conference to share reports on their recent achievements.

The main goals in organising this event are to bring together specialists in the field of cancer research, provide a framework for lectures and poster sessions on the latest research topics, stimulate scientific interactions between participants and build collaborations. The organisers also wish to invite researchers who have a keen interest in becoming involved in the field of cancer research. Last but not least, they would like to extend a special invitation to young researchers, PhD students and students, both from the Faculty itself and from other scientific institutions, to enrol for the conference.
