On 21–22 April 2023, the 1st Department of Cardiology, Interventional Electrocardiology and Hypertension of the Jagiellonian University Medical College will host the International Satellite Symposium to the ESH 2023 Congress in April 2023. The event, organised on the initiative of the Scientific Council of European Society of Hypertension, will be held under the honorary patronage of JU Vice-Rector for Medical College Prof. Tomasz Grodzicki.

The symposium is dedicated to the broadly understood environmental determinants of hypertension. The topic covers classic environmental factors, but also dietary habits, the impact of comorbidities and other risk factors for the development of hypertension. The invited lecturers and chairmen are globally recognized experts in the field of hypertension and cardiovascular diseases, which guarantees a high scientific level of the meeting.

On the second day of the Symposium workshops aimed at improving practical skills in hypertension diagnostics including ECG, echocardiography and imaging examinations are planned.

The Symposium will be held onsite in the auditorium and seminar rooms of the University Hospital in Kraków.
