The conference is organised by JU students and attracts participants from around the world. It is recognised globally as one of the most important events in the field of neuroscience in Europe, during which young and passionate researchers engage in discussions with experienced specialists.

The main aim of the conference is to provide researchers with an opportunity to share their latest discoveries, knowledge and experiences as well as meet their colleagues working in various branches of neuroscience. The scope of the events will range from topics such as the genetic causes of intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders to deliberations on cognitive models of facial recognition. The participants will also discuss brain-computer interfacing and its applications in biology and medicine.

The conference will be divided into four categories: Cognitive Neuroscience, Biological Neuroscience, Computational Neuroscience and Medical Neuroscience. It will feature presentations, poster sessions and plenary lectures which will be delivered by experts in the area of nervous system.

A workshop for young researchers concerning data analysis and career prospects in neuroscience will be organised one day before the conference (24 April). It will prove to be an excellent opportunity to gain experience and new skills.
