Dr <span lang="pl">Karolina Piotrowicz</span> in the authorities of the European Geriatric Medicine Society

During the 19th congress of the European Geriatric Medicine Society (EuGMS) Dr Karolina Piotrowicz from the Jagiellonian University Medical College was elected Secretary General of the organisation, defeating seven other candidates.

 

Dr Karolina Piotrowicz is an assistant professor at the JU Medical College Chair of Internal Medicine and Gerontology and staff member of the Internal Diseases and Geriatrics Clinical Department of the University Hospital in Kraków.  

The European Geriatric Medicine Society, EuGMS, is an organisation bringing together national geriatric associations in the European Union and Switzerland. It supports the development of geriatric medicine in all its member states as a respected, independent medical specialty and engages in activities aimed at improving the quality of healthcare for older people suffering from age-related diseases.
