JU astrophysicists discovery may lead to a breakthrough in space exploration

According to the latest issue of the Science magazine, the High Energy Stereoscopic System (H.E.S.S.) made it possible to discover three exceptionally bright high-energy gamma-ray emission sources in the Large Magellanic Cloud, a nearby dwarf spiral galaxy. Research bonanza: JU archaeologists in Colorado

Thorough and exhaustive documentation of existing archaeological sites and finding hitherto unknown engravings and stone edifices of the Pueblo people – these are just two of this season's many accomplishments of the Jagiellonian University researchers in Colorado, USA.
