Our PhD student becomes the winner of the Polish edition of FameLab competition

FameLab is an international talent competition modelled on traditional talent shows. Its main aim is to promote science and showcase scientists. FameLab competitions are held in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Monika Koperska, the winner of the Polish edition of FameLab competition, is a PhD student at the Faculty of Chemistry of the Jagiellonian University. Her research interests focus on conservation chemistry. She is the president of PhD Students Society of the Jagiellonian University.

In her presentation delivered in Warsaw, she tried to persuade the audience that paper is the best way to store data. The Foundation for Polish Science and Copernicus Science Centre awarded her 35 thousand zlotys.

On 15 June she will compete in FameLab International (Cheltenham, Great Britain) together with the other winners from different countries including the UK.
