Polish Congress Ambassadors
On 5 June, the a session of the chapter of the Polish Congress Ambassadors Programme took place in Warsaw in order to choose this year's laureates.
Polish Congress Ambassadors are people who, through their activities in international associations, promote Poland and encourage foreign institutions to organise events in Poland. to earn the title of Honorary Ambassador, one must arrange for at least one international event to be organised in Poland in the last three years and convincing the chapter of their efforts to promote Poland.
47 people were nominated in this year's edition, 20 of whom have joined the ranks of Honorary Polish Congress Ambassadors, with 3 Jagiellonian University scholars among them:
- Ms. Iwona Kmieć
- Dr hab. Bartłomiej W. Loster
- Dr hab. inż. Grzegorz Jacek Nalepa
The Polish Congress Ambassadors gala and award ceremony will take place on 25 September 2014 in Kielce.
