On 10 October 2016 the Jagiellonian University hosted a visit from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) delegation, which included the Dean of the Faculty of Business Prof. Edwin Cheng, accompanied by Vice-Deans Prof. Gerard Gorn and Dr Pamsy Hui.
The delegation was received in Collegium Novum by the Rector of the Jagiellonian University Prof. Wojciech Nowak. The Deputy Director of the JU Institute of the Middle and Far East Dr Karolina Rak also took part in the meeting, which was mainly devoted to the prospects of cooperation between the two institutions, including the opening of a collaborative MBA programme and the development of student exchange .
The visit to the Rector’s Office was followed by a short tour of the Jagiellonian University Museum Collegium Maius, after which the delegation went to the JU Institute of the Middle and Far East to discuss further details of the planned collaboration.
