On 1 June, during the General Assembly of the Coimbra Group in Salamanca, JU Vice-Rector for University Development Prof. Dorota Malec became a member of the Executive Board of the organisation.
The meeting featured an extensive presentation of the Jagiellonian University due to it being selected as the host for the General Assembly in June 2019. The Coimbra Group is a cooperation network featuring 39 universities from all around Europe. It consists of 11 workgroups focused on science, education, and organisation.
